Belgaum Foundry Cluster project has been awarded recently Gold Category Award from International Standard for Leadership Quality of B.I.D (Business Initiative Directions) Madrid, Spain. Award will be given during 17th International Quality Convention, PARIS on 30th June 2013. This award is presented in recognition of those organizations from all over the world for their reputation and position for implementation & promoting quality culture. B.I.D will present this award in Paris to the Owner / President of the awarded organization. Selection for this award has been from organization of 178 countries in the world. This is one of the most prestigious award which is passed by B.I.D World Congress based on quality control principle, leadership & technology with best practice and business results from organization. Selection criteria is very tough & selection committee will analyze thoroughly the performance of company. Shri. Ram Bhandare, Chairman Belgaum Foundry Cluster will represent Belgaum Foundry Cluster for this award ceremony at Paris, France on 30th June 2013. Belgaum Foundry Cluster project started in the year 2004 by Foundrymen from Belgaum under able leadership of Shri. Ram Bhandare, Shri. Ashok Sadalage & Shri. Hemant Latthe. Because of collective efforts from Board of Directors, Council Members of Belgaum Foundry Cluster & Belgaum Foundry Cluster members. Belgaum Foundry Cluster project has been considered by Government of India as “Model Cluster”. Also Belgaum Foundry Cluster has provided various services to foundries and brought new projects from UNIDO – ICAMT, Lean Manufacturing Competiveness (L.M.C) scheme, and Sector Skill Council etc & presently running all projects successfully and foundry units from Belgaum are benefitted by taking all these services provided by Belgaum Foundry Cluster.
