52nd Southern Region Formation Day-2013 was celebrated at Belgaum Foundry Cluster Hall on Saturday. 14th December, 2013 in grand way. Around 120 delegates from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Kerela attended the function. This function got excellent response from all over Southern states. Shri. V. Ramaswamy, Chairman, IIF Southern Region welcomed the members. Dr. G. R. Udupi, Principal, K.L.S’s Vishwanathrao Deshpande Rural Institute of Technology, Haliyal, was chief guest & Shri. Ram Bhandare, Chairman – Belgaum Foundry Cluster was guest of honour. During this function Shri. Ram Bhandare, Chairman Belgaum Foundry Cluster was felicitated for his outstanding contribution to foundry industries in Belgaum as well as for Southern Region. Afterwards Shri. Ram Bhandare gave detailed presentation on Belgaum Foundry Cluster Project. All office bearers from Southern Region commended Belgaum Foundry Cluster as well as IIF – Belgaum Chapter for excellent performance and appealed other chapters to follow Belgaum Chapter in forming their cluster to help foundrymen from their regions. During function Shri. S. R. V. Ramanan, IIF Past President, Shri. Rudregouda, Retd member, KPSC from Shimoga, Shri. Chandrashekhar, IIF Past Secretary, Shri. Baliga, Chairman, IIF – Shimoga Chapter, Shri. Ravichandramouli, Vice Chairman, IIF – Southern Region, Shri. Muthukumar, Treasurer, IIF – Coimbatore Chapter & Shri. Dayalan, Vice Chairman, IIF – Chennai Chapter addressed the gathering and gave information about past performance of IIF for last 52 years. Vote of Thanks was offered by Shri. Sadanand Humbarwadi, Chairman, IIF – Belagum Chapter. Function was attended by Shri. Ashok Sadalage, Vice Chairman. IIF – Belgaum Chapter, Shri. Prakash Pandit, Shri. Hemant Lathe, Shri.
