Two more Cluster under Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness (L.M.C) Scheme Sanctioned to Belgaum Foundry Cluster by ministry of MSME, Govt. of India.

DSC_0313The Belgaum Foundry Cluster, the only cluster in India who has completed two project so far under this scheme and based on performance & Success of this, two more clusters are sanctioned to Belgaum Foundry Cluster for 2014-15. M.O.U was signed between Belgaum Foundry Cluster & NPC (National Productivity Council) on Tuesday, 25th March 2014 at BFC Hall during The Institute of Indian Foundrymen Meeting. Mr. H. R. Prabhu – Regional Director & Mr. K P. Ashwin – Dy. Director from National Productivity Council, Bangalore were present for meeting. Copy of M.O.U was given to Shri. H. R. Prabhu by Mr. Ashok Sadalage – Vice Chairman from Belgaum Foundry Cluster. Total 12 foundries are participating in this programme and the project will start by May 2014.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Prabhu & Mr. Ashwin commended the performance of previous project done by Belgaum Foundry Cluster under this scheme, due to which Ministry of M.S.M.E has sanctioned two more clusters for Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Implementation to Belgaum Foundry Cluster. Mr. Ram Bhandare – Chairman, Mr.Ashok Sadalage – Vice Chairman & Mr. Hemant Latthe – Hon. Secretary have taken efforts & given their guidance for making this project Grand Success. This M.O.U ceremony was attended by more than sixty foundrymen from Belgaum including Mr. Sadanand Humbarwadi, Mr. Ashok Sadalage, Mr. Brijmohan Lahoti, Mr. Neminath Kangralkar, Mr. Snachit Kittur, Mr. Prakash Pandit , Mr. Maruti Kono & many more.
